Hay Creek Entertainment, the parent company of Amporia, was originally founded in 2012 by Jerry Kern as a premier entertainment labor provider serving venues, AV companies, and touring productions throughout the Twin Cities. In 2024, the company was acquired by its current ownership, ushering in a new era of growth and diversification.

Building on its strong foundation in event staffing, Hay Creek Entertainment has expanded to include full-service production management, artist relations, and food & beverage operations—allowing us to deliver comprehensive support to both new and long-standing clients. In addition, we began producing and promoting our own events, designed to create memorable experiences for smaller, more connected audiences at a price point people feel good about.

That same philosophy inspired the creation of Amporia—short for amplified euphoria or amplified fun. Located in the North Metro, Amporia is an intimate outdoor entertainment venue where guests can enjoy live music concerts, drive-in or sit-in movies, and family-friendly activities. Our mission is simple: to bring people together for exceptional entertainment experiences that feel personal, accessible, and unforgettable.
